I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Budget in Chantepie. The room felt like it had just been renovated, with a comfortable bed and high-quality sheets and towels. I was impressed with the separate bathroom and toilet, which was convenient when traveling with a friend. The hotel was incredibly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The best part was the value for money - I got so much more than I expected in this price range. I would definitely come back!
I did have a couple of minor issues during my stay. On arrival, there weren't enough towels in the room, so I had to request more.

We had a great Christmas stay at this hotel! the staff was welcoming and available, making us feel right at home. the rooms were comfortable and felt almost new, with separate bathroom and toilet spaces. the mattress, sheets, and towels were of high quality, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hotel was also very quiet, allowing us to relax and unwind. the value for money was excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable.
While our experience was mostly positive, there were a couple of drawbacks. One of the rooms had a little difficulty with the access code, and the alarm in the distance went off a few times, which was slightly annoying.

The hotel had a charming decoration, with cozy furnishings and beautiful artwork throughout. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to the rooms and general areas. It made my stay comfortable and hassle-free.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more helpful assistance from the staff. The children working there seemed busy and sometimes overwhelmed, which made it difficult to get the help I needed.

The rooms at Ibis Budget Rennes Chantepie are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay after a long day of exploring. The beds are super comfy, and the flat-screen TV is a great addition to unwind and catch up on your favorite shows. As a laid-back guest, I really enjoyed the simple yet elegant furnishings that added a nice touch to the room.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of having to make my own bed. It's just a small inconvenience, but some guests might actually enjoy the DIY bed-making experience.
